We are excited to share a new feature available in the YourSpec Wiring Project Manager: shielded cable shield crimping!
Now, when working with shielded cable, you can choose to have the shielding crimped into a pin. Like with other wires, you can select which pin (if any) is either included or crimped for each end of the cable’s shielding. When choosing to crimp the shielding, stripping the outer cable is automatically enabled.
To use this feature, add any shielded cable (such as our multi conductor shielded tefzel cable) to a YourSpec Wiring Project and look for the inner conductor labeled “SHIELD.”
